About

I help businesses look as credible online as they are offline.

I'm Ahlem Mahroua — a French-Algerian marketing strategist, ex-Googler, former CMO, founder, mentor, and advisor.

I'm the founder of nova* growth studio, a marketing agency for the AI era. My work sits at the intersection of marketing strategy, digital presence, founder visibility, content, pitch assets, and the way AI is changing how people discover and trust businesses.

Story

I have always helped people get seen properly.

Before "personal branding," "AI search," or "growth systems" became popular terms, I was already helping businesses explain themselves better online.

I started in digital marketing by building websites, writing content, running paid campaigns, managing social media, and helping clients look more professional on the internet.

Then I joined Google, where I worked with publishers and app developers on audience growth, digital monetisation, and revenue opportunities.

Later, as a CMO, I helped scale an education group from €105K to €13M ARR by building the marketing, sales, content, CRM, events, and reporting systems behind the growth.

Over the years, I have advised hundreds of founders through programs, accelerators, and innovation ecosystems.

The pattern has always been the same: good businesses lose opportunities when people cannot understand, trust, or remember them.

That is the problem I help solve.

What I believe

Good work deserves to be understood.

Your business can be excellent.

But if your website is unclear, your pitch deck is messy, your LinkedIn is outdated, your proof is hidden, your content is inconsistent, and AI tools cannot explain what you do, people hesitate.

I believe marketing should make a business easier to understand, easier to trust, and easier to choose.

Not louder. Clearer.

Experience

The experience behind the work.

Google

I worked with publishers and app developers on digital monetisation, audience growth, partner relationships, and revenue opportunities.

CMO and operator experience

I helped structure marketing and commercial systems across websites, content, events, CRM, automation, reporting, sales enablement, and acquisition.

Founder and agency experience

Through my own work, I built websites, managed social media, created SEO content, ran ads, set up tracking, worked with freelancers, and delivered practical marketing projects for clients.

Founder advisory and workshops

I have mentored and trained founders on growth, founder-led sales, customer acquisition, positioning, and go-to-market across international programs and ecosystem partners.

What makes my work different

I am not a theorist.

I can think strategically. But I also know what it takes to ship.

That means I can help you decide what matters, remove what does not, and improve the assets that shape trust.

I will not give you a 60-slide deck that collects dust. I will tell you what is unclear, what is weakening trust, and what needs to happen next.

Personal note

Why this matters to me.

I have spent my career around ambitious people who are doing good work but struggling to explain it clearly.

  • Founders with strong products but weak positioning.
  • Businesses with great reputations but outdated websites.
  • Experts with deep knowledge but invisible proof.
  • Teams doing too much marketing activity without making the business easier to choose.

I care about closing that gap.

Because being good is not enough if people cannot see it.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Who do you work best with?

Founders, service businesses, and expert-led teams that sell expertise, trust, reputation, or complex services — typically when the work is strong but the marketing assets do not reflect it yet.

What makes nova* different from a traditional agency?

nova* is a small, senior-led studio built for the AI era. You work directly with experienced operators, not junior account managers. We focus on the assets that actually shape trust before people buy, not bloated retainers or vanity activity.

Do you work solo or with a team?

Both. I lead every engagement personally. When a project needs more hands — design, dev, video, content production — I bring in a vetted network of operators I have worked with for years.

How long does a typical engagement last?

It depends on the scope. An AI-Era Marketing Audit takes about a week. The Marketing Asset Sprint runs two weeks. A Premium Presence Rebuild runs three to six weeks. Advisory days are one-off or recurring.

What does it cost to work together?

Audits start from $1,000. Sprints from $3,000. Presence rebuilds from $6,000. Advisory days are custom. Full pricing is on the Hire Me page.

How do we get started?

Send an enquiry through the contact form with a few words about your business, what feels unclear or underwhelming today, and your timeline. If it looks like a fit, I will reply with next steps.

Want to work together?

If your business is better than how it looks online, I can help you fix that.
